London’s King’s Cross station has unveiled its digital poster display space for advertisers, the new western concourse now features a range of digital posters.

The digital media space in the new concourse compromises of two HD Transvision screens positioned on either side of the main departure boards that run in synchronisation with creative and four digital 6-sheets.

There are also plans for twenty digital escalator panels to be included in the station in order to reach passengers traveling from the station concourse and the Tube station.

The area was planned by Network Rail, English Heritage and the station architects to deliver suitable advertising in the space, a key part of the brief was to ensure that it would fit with the history of the station.

Jeremy Male, chief executive of JCDecaux UK & Northern Europe, said: “With rail audiences at their highest ever, passengers and advertisers are set to benefit as stations such as King’s Cross are transformed into retail and travel hubs.”

One of the first companies to use the digital posters was Network Rail, they are using them to keep passengers informed about the changes at the station.
